Did you know… DMU provides every student and member of staff with an online space on the DMU Academic Commons.
‘The Commons’ is a space where you can blog about your experiences of studying or working at DMU with an academic focus. There are also a number of project and research blogs currently being hosted on The Commons. To access your own space visit https://commons.dmu.ac.uk and log in using either your student ID (pnumber) or staff username.
By logging in, your space will be created and made visible on the web, ready for you to start blogging. As The Commons has a number of themes available it can also be used for more than blogging. By changing the theme your space can be made to look and feel more like a fully-fledged website and some areas even use The Commons for teaching activities.
In fact, this very post is hosted on The Commons as the ‘Your Library DMU Blog’ is a Commons site that was created and is maintained by a number of library staff members.
