As part of our series of ongoing events celebrating 40 years of the Kimberlin Library we are pleased to announce that we will be having two author talks between now and Christmas.

Paul Dowswell and Jane Adams, our Royal Literary Fund Fellows in residence have kindly agreed to give two special talks to the university.
Paul Dowswell
To be held on 11 December at 2pm in Hawthorn 0.05
Blood, Sweat and Tears – where writers get their ideas
A general talk explaining how photographs, paintings, music and research trips to locations featured in my novels have all inspired my historical fiction writing.

Jane Adams
To be held on 14 December at 11am in Hawthorn 0.05
“Jane Adams has been a professional writer for more than twenty years and has produced more than thirty published novels, mainly in the crime genre. She will talk about her writing and inspiration and the massive changes that are happening in the publishing world.”
