Prospective visitors should be aware that there will be no walk-in access for visitors at De Montfort University’s Kimberlin Library from Monday 3rd April – Friday 12th May inclusive.

Additionally, no membership cards will be created for any new external library users from Monday 3rd April – Friday 12th May inclusive. This will restrict access to this library from members of the public, students from local colleges / 6th Forms and SCONUL users from other universities. Library access by external members who already have a library card is unaffected. Access to the Archives is also unaffected. Blanket loans – study cosy in Kimberlin!

Warmth and comfort is a subjective thing, but we know that some areas of the library can feel cooler if you’ve been sat studying for a while, particularly at night when library occupancy is lower. Don’t be chilly, be cosy! Kimberlin Library now has a supply of blankets which can be picked up from Reception, used while you’re studying then returned on your way out.
